Island Peak April 07

Hi. Having recently come back from my second adventure to the Khumbu region, I'm wanting to step things up a bit and look at climbing Island Peak next year.

I'm a 24 year old sydney guy - looking for like minded young climbers to climb with next year.

I'm also considering getting climbing experience in NZ over the next few years.

I'd be interested in hearing from likeminded aussies.

Hey EBC aussie, i am planning a trip for march april 07 as well. Originally i was going to br going with 2 friends and attempting merra. I was stil hoping to climb merra myself with a guide but am not so sure if it will be doable with money i will have. Am willing to share a permit for island peak if you want. Are you wanting to climb early/mid/late april? Do you have anyone else interested as of yet?

I did a little trekking in peru and bolivia last year. not much but enough to get the bug. I am pretty good at altitude, In solid training 3-4 days a week now.
