question about the weather in september ACT

Hi all,

can anybody tell me if its possible to cross the Thorung La pass (ACT) in september, I think around 15-20 september. By the way is it actually possible to do the Annapurna Circuit in september at all??

Hi Ron,

I'm not sure if I qualify as someone experienced, but I know the Nepali seasons which is probably sufficient for this question.

You will have no problems in September as it will actually be late summer / early Autumn. To quote the local weather man on Tele - "warm with a chance of heavy showers". The pass is normally "open" until early January, although getting pretty cold through December.
