HI all
As promised my post from KTM. Well this was going to be the post to let all know what the situation is like to reasure or scare. In truth whilst its only a few hours its very duifficult to tell if anything is different to the 'normal' I have experienced on my previous trips. Yes, there are a number of westerners around. The plane was full and a fair sprinkling of tourists. Andy from Shonas tells me a large numbers of expeditions are on there way and that due to the problems recently Annapurna is very quite. He couldn't even say for sure the pass was open. Anyway thats where I'm going - hope you read this Yak !! Seriously thanks to those positive people out there - I'm so glad I have made the trip.
