Yo,:D
I'm wanting a bit of advice on a schedule to go by - re: stops/routes etc.. in the shortest (safest) time frame.
Basically - I want to trek from Lukla to the Goyko Lakes; across the Cho La pass; to Goak Shep/Base Camp, then back to Lukla.
Of course I want to take full advantage and see any great sights which may include detours off the main route.
Any suggests on a timetable / map would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Sam

How long are you going for? How long do you want to trek for? What time of year? Have you been to altitude before, do you acclimatise well? Are you used to hiking? Can you put in long days? Will you be carrying your own stuff?
All these have a bearing on what you can do. Shortest and safest is a bit of a misnoma. There is a fairly standard schedule that you will find in any guidebook and on hundreds of websites advertising treks on the internet. You might be able to go faster than that (although I would never advise that on your first trip if you don't have a very good idea how you acclimatise), or you might have to go slower, or indeed you might not be able to go vey high at all. Who knows. Google up "everest trek" or something like that and you will find loads of lists. Answers can be more tailored to your questions if you can explain what you are planning to do.
