Has anyone climbed frozen fingers, a peak between gokyo's 4th and 5th lake?
Its the highest on the horizon here (the one without any snow on it ;))

Damn you Tanus! Even more things that I have to add to my list now. I didn't make it up past Gokyo but looks like I am going to have to make the effort next time.

I went up there in March 2003. Nice easy scramble and good views as you say. But I thought they were called the Nameless Fangs? Did you get an altimeter reading at the top? My watch said 5800m but I have heard of anything between 5600m and 5850m. What height do you think it is?

i think the very top of the (unclimbable) spike is just over 5800, i would suggest we were 50-100m below that.
