Himachal Pradesh Expedition 2006



PEAKS TO BE CLIMBED:



1- MANIRANG 6593M

2- SAPONANG 5836M

3- GHUNSARANG 5800M

4- MANIRANG WEST 5888M

5- UNNAMED PEAK 6223M



DURATION:

3 WEEKS(ex Delhi) for climbing Manirang and Manirang West

additional 1 week for climbing Saponang, Ghunsarang & peak 6223m



BEST SEASON OF CLIMBING: JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER



Brief History: Manirang was first climbed by Dr J. de V. Graaff and party in 1952. In 1988, Indian Paratroopers made the second ascent of this peak. In 1994, the third ascent of Manirang was made by an Indo-British Team.



So ours will be the fourth ascent of Manirang with additional incentive summits. We will be able to make the second ascent of Saponang (5836m), Ghunsarang (5800m),

And the first ascent of Unnamed Peak 6223m!
