Almost two months ago I have completed my sixth trek in Nepal, the fifth in the company of Santaman. He handled the complexity of a group which had to split (due to the ill-health of one of the members) with the usual effectiveness and sensitivity that I've grown accustomed to expect from him. He's not just the most accomplished guide professionally, and able to handle all the transport, permits, accomodations and logistics very well. He's also a very good communicator and intuitive listener, who's great knowledge and love of his country - including cultural and political current situation - coupled with awareness of tourist expectations, will make a trek absolutely memorable.
Another reason I trek with him, is that he has an excellent team, including an assistent guide (Rame), and porters who are excellent, and whom he treats very well.
