for info only..I was reading trekinfo security page the following information on the main blurb provided by the site can be improved in my humble opinion .

No problem at all with the langtang valley beautiful...no active maoists and very safe.

Restaurants are in the main always open during Bandhs not a target for any group calling a strike...
Eating after 9 p.m.most Hotels and many guest houses have grub nowadays
every little helps!..maybe?
