Does anyone have feedback/experience with staying inside the Chitwan National Park?
I went there twice previously, staid in Sauraha, did stuff from there, went on the beach in the evening with likeminded loonies, and enjoyed myself a lot.
However I am thinking of staying inside the park this time, especially that the group I am going with might be more inclined towards seeng wildlife than partying on the river beach :( from sunset to 4am.
If anyone has a personal experience on Gaida, Jungle Island Lodge, Machan, Chitwan Jungle Lodge, even bloomin' Tiger Tops... Please let me know.

Yak, I stayed there in 2003. Was very quiet, no electricity but there was plenty of beers available even if no big parties, did the rides and saw a bit of wildlife, highlight was helping wash the elephants. I found it more an unwind after a trek then a special place to not miss to be honest. Arrangements worked well in terms of being met and returned to the bus outside the park. One of these places suffered damge from a maoist attack that destroyed some infrastructure a while back, not sure which place it was.

Thanks Boulia. I have emailed most of them, including Chitwan Jungle Lodge.
We'll see what comes up. At this stage Machan looks the best value for money, but I can't get any recent reviews by tourists.
