Hi all

Heading to Nepal in November for ca. 3 weeks. Wamted to know if it is necessary to bring a -20°C (comfort rated ) sleeping bag or what really is necessary?
Would really appreciate any feedback. Any other important things to bring?

Regards to all

You need a very warm (preferable a "four seasons" rated sleeping bag. Lodges can give you extra blankets at times, but they are usually filthy. It will get pretty cold above Namche Bazaar at night, even below zero, and that is in your room!!
Other stuff, obviously warm clothing (using the layering principle, as you can get quite warm during the day), a down jacket if you can afford one, or maybe you can hire one in Thamel. Also a beanie, sun hat, sun glasses, good boots.
Even if you miss something important, you can buy everything you may want either in Lukla or in Namche Bazaar. Appart from good walking boots, that is.
