Hi all
Myself and 2 other people are planning to come to Nepal on the 10th of November and to depart on the 18th of that same month. This gives us 8 days to see as much of this beautiful country as we can. We are all fit and in our 20's. We will probably need a guide and will stay in teahouses along the way... Any suggestions on the BEST, MOST BEAUTIFUL route to take with our limited time frame?

You won't see much but it will be an apetizer for you
1. You'll need to spend two days in the KTD valley to see KTD Durbar Marg Baktapur, Patan, Swayambunath, Boudanath.
2. You'll need to fly in order to trek somewhere for 5 days or so.
One posibility is to fly to Pokhara (return) and do the Poon Hill (Ghorepani) and Ghandruk trek. It would be a good introduction to Nepal. I have known people who've done the ABC trek in 5 days... Possible, but extremely strenuous.
Second possibility is to fly to Lukla and trek to Namche/Kumjung/Khunde, maybe you can go as far as Tengpoche, and then come back and fly out of luckla again.

Alternatively go into Langtang or Helambu. Cut out having to use flights. You will want to enjoy some of the great sites in Kathmandu as well.

yep Sharon. I forgot about Langtang. nice 5-7 day trek, and you can start a few hours by bus from KTD.

Thanks for all your help. We've managed to stretch our time a little further, and will now be arriving on the morning of the 7th, leaving on the 17th.

In this case, Langtang wich is about 7 days, or ABC which is about 8, would be good treks. This would give you a day or two to see Kathmandu, and the KTD valley, which are definitely worth it... Two days would be best for this.
