Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Kathmandu arrival
Arriving in Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), you will be met by a Nepal Alternative Treks airport representative. Transfer by Private car/ Van (depends on size of group) to the selected Hotel (Hotel Marshyangdi) at thamel in Kathmandu(1290m./4273). Stay overnight on B/B basis.
Day 2: Visit world heritage sites in Kathmandu
Full day Kathmandu sight seeing (world heritages sites) - Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Boudhanath stupa and pashupatinath temple by private car/van (depends on group size) and tour guide. Stay at same hotel on B/B basis.
Day 3: Kathmandu Arughat
Early morning we leave Kathmandu for our trek to Manaslu. Drive 7/8 hours by Private Jeep to Arughat through the beautiful Nepalese countryside. Arughat is the largest village of this river basin. Explore the surrounding area and stay overnight in Arughat (570m/1,804ft) at lodgeon FB basis.
Day 4: Arughat labubensi
manglatar - Santi bazaar- Arkhat bazaar-keurenipani-sotikhola-khursanibari-labubensi (880m/2,461ft).6 hours walking and over night at lodge
Day 5: labubensi- dobhan
khanibensi-machha khola gaon-khorlabensi-tatopani-dobhan( 1070m./2920ft.) 5/6 hours walking.over night at lodge
Day 6: dobhan filim gaon
Dhulo dhunga-yurukhola-jagat-salleri-sirdibas-ghatte khola-filim
(1590m./4429ft.) 5/6 hours walking. Then over night at lodge
Day 7: filim gaon Deng
Ekle Bhatti-pewa khola-Dyang( 1800m./6430ft.) 4/5hours walking. Then over night at lodge.
Day 8: Deng Ghapsya
Rana gaon-bihi phedi-ghap-ghapsya
The trail leads us to Ghapsya (2170m./7808ft.) 5/6 hours walking. Then over night at lodge.
Day 9: Ghapsey Lhogaon
Namrung-ligaon-syagaon-Lhogaon
We walk today to Namrung(3180m./8858ft.) 6 hours walking. Then over night at lodge.
Day 10: lhogaon-Sama gaon
Syalagaon-sama gaon
We head to Sama Gompa( 3530m./11024ft.) 5 hours walking.then over night at lodge.
Day 11: Acclimatization day

Day 12: Sama gaon-Samdo
We trek to Samdo( 3690m.12402 ft.) 2/3 hours walking. Then over night at lodge.
Day 13: Samdo dharmasalla
we trek to Larkya rest house (4470m /13780ft.)3/4 hours hours walking. Then over night at lodge.
Day 14: dharmasalla - Larkya La - Bimtang
We trek to Bimtang( 3720m./7218ft.) 7/8 hours walking. Today you have very early breakfast and start untimely. The trail reaches at the top of the moraine at 4,700m. (15,420ft) and climbs steeply to the pass at 5,135m. (16,847ft). Then the trail descends to Bimtang (" Plain of Sand" in Tibetan Language). This huge valley surrounded by high peaks. We stay there overnight at tent on FB basis.
Day 15: Bimtang-tilche
Yak kharka-soti khola-ghogaon-tilche village
We trek down to tilche village (1992m./6535ft.) 7 hours walking. Then over night at lodge.
Day 16: tilche Chamje
Thoche-dharapani-tal-chamchya
We trek down to Chamje( 1430m./4686ft.) 5/6 hours walking. Then over night at lodge.
Day 17: Chamje- Bahundanda
Jagat-syange-ghermu-bahundanda
Trek 5/6 hours waking (1310m) then over night at lodge.
Day 18: Bahundanda- Khudi- Bensisahar
trek 5/6 hours walking (820m)then over night at lodge.
Day 19: Bensi Sahar- Kathmandu
Early morning after breakfast drive tourist bus to Kathmandu 5 hours then stay in Hotel Marshyangdi overnight on b/b plan. In the evening, you are cordially invited to a farewell dinner where you will experience typical Nepali food and cultural entertainment, courtesy of Nepal Alternative Treks.
Day 20: Departure to International airport
Nepal Alternative Treks provides you free transportation to Trivuwan international airport and departure to your home or other destination.
