HI there,
I am a 28 year female from Europe (currently living in Dubai) and are looking for people age 28 -35 that are interested in joining me for the Annapurna Circuit Trek in December. I am pretty flexible with the dates but prefer towards New Years... I can even extend the trip into the New Year.
So, if you are a fun-loving person looking to do the same, please feel free to write me. (theteutonicgoddess@yahoo.com)
Cheers!

We did the Annapurna Circuit last December with an excellent porter. He knows the area perfectly, He is very strong and friendly. If you take him with you don't need an additional guide because he is "two in one". His name is Pashupati Pandey and you can contact him directly via email skyline@enet.com.np or visit website at www.skylinetreks.com www.nepaltravels.biz www.trekinfo.biz
Bye-bye,

Hello,
I'm a 33 year old male living in Dallas, Texas (USA) that will be in KTM on around December 18/19th. I'm looking to do a trek also (currently inquiring about EBC treks) but am open to doing the Annapurna trek if my plans fall through (I fear that weather may be a factor in late December). Let me know if you're still interested in looking for travel partners. Thanks
Daniel

Daniel,
Weather may be a greater factor for the Annapurna Circuit in December than for the Khumbu.
It will be cold in both places high up
(perhaps colder in Khumbu, but that is because trekkers often go higher/longer in Khumbu).
BUT: Circuit requires you to go over Thorung La -- it could be closed (and/or dangerous) due to snow and/or poor visibility (and you do not want to get lost up there!).
In both treks, however, if you decrease your "goal orientation" (ie gotta make it over the pass... gotta get to Kala Pattar), and go with the flow (maybe even turn back), then you can do either.
The beginnings of either trek (Jiri-Lukla; Besisahar-Manang) include lower altitudes, warmer temps and interesting villages, so you can't go wrong... and then there is the route to/from Jomsom, etc
Whatever, have fun.
My wife and I arrive KTM Dec 10 -- my 6th visit -- likely we'll try the cold in the Khumbu -- we're excited.
