The Silvertops are heading to the Southwest USA in September to see several of the National Parks and to do some day hiking. We will be travelling in a small RV and have 8 weeks available. Our starting/finishing point is Las Vegas and we aim to visit some or all of the following - Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Yosemite, Lassen, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Bryce, Arches, Canyonlands, Grand Canyon, Monument valley, Joshua Tree, etc.,
We would welcome advice and particularly suggestions as to places we must visit. We would like to avoid public campgrounds when possible and to camp "in the bush" where we can.
