Bon jour, I am a Norwegian fellow who is looking for hiking companion. Kind of trek not essential to me, so why not Poon Hill?
Thing is I should be back in Katmandu on the 18th or, at the latest 19th. Possible to leave one day before?
I am acclimatized after being in high mountains in Kyrgyzstan and China and ready for the hike. But I guess, the Poon Hill trek isn't that high anyway..
Oh, my age? 33. Very old :)
Do I speak French? Non :( Un petit peu.
I speak Norwegian, German, English, and a little bit of Spanish.
My Nepal cell phone no. is (+977) 981 325 9332.
Email: audun.lien@gmail.com
Current location: Katmandu.
Looking forward to hear from you!

Hi Fanny! Great, thanks for your reply!
I think it sounds good, I hope you wouldn't mind? I will consider it, and will in that case meet you in Pokhara. Are you there now? I will perhaps go there tomorrow.
You intend to go without guides, right? I prefer that. I assume sleeping in guest houses, not bring tent, right?
Is it problem for you that I can't speak french? Is the swiss guy french speaking?
I normally live in Switzerland, but in the german part.
Maybe I see you!

Coucou Audun,
I will be in Pokhara the 13th december, I will arrive near 3 pm i think. You can call my friend, David, he has a nepali phone : 9805842227. We could start the trek on the 14th. I don't think we will take a guide, we have a map and it's not a difficult trek. But if we are 3 person, why not, it will not be expensive. I have no tent too. It doesn't matter if you don't speak french, David speaks french but we can speak english.
See you !

Hi,
I'm in Pokhara, i'm male, just 50 (oh my god!) from UK, and am looking to do one or more short treks, maybe 5 days or so, starting in next few days. I will be in this area until end of December i think (there's a street festival in Pokhara Dec 28-Jan 1st), then off to India. I'm open to any trek partner/group ideas, 1 day or longer.
I'm staying at Phil's Inn (as in Lonely Planet) - on main lakeside road (North).
