Hi,

I'm an ultra-runner and just got back from a "endurance trekking" trip around Annapurna and up into the Sanctuary. I wrote a blog (http://nickkaiser.wordpress.com/annapurna-112010/) for the benefit of anyone who is similarly inclined.

Good achievement ,but a terrible waste of trekking cultural experience in my opinion ! The longer the trek the better in the Himalayas
Dont get me wrong ,I am an ex Fell Runner and marathoneer but theres a time and a place for everything !
Cheers Mike

Strong performance. Would be a joy to run in this powerful scenery.

In the Himal Race 780 km from Kailas to Annapurna a Belgian became 2nd !
Very strong. because in the past, the honours went to Sherpa's
Anyone interested to participate next year ?
I also run marathons...but that's a piece of cake compared to this.

I don't run, but it's an impressive blog. I enjoyed reading to find out what you took, did, seen....and the way you planned and organised.
I prefer walking to running or cycling to see more details... I prefer walking at reasonable pace, rather than stopping too often. People do different things, prefer one thing more than the other. I admire people run or cycle too. You must have felt a great sense of achievement
