Good day. I am planning a trek to and from Gokyo Ri in February 2011. My coat on hand is an Arc'teryx Kappa SV Hoody (windproof, water resistant, GORE WINDSTOPPER, insulated with Primaloft® Sport [a synthetic, of course]). Is this thing going to be warm enough if I layer it at that elevation?
Thanks in advance.

Probably OK while walking, BUT: It will be really cold sitting around at night -- I expect you will need much more. A good fat down (squishes/packs down much better than synthetic) coat really makes a difference.

OK. I'll do the down coat.
Thanks!
