Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy compression sack (with straps & clips to fasten tight) anywhere in Kathmandu, Nepal?

Thanks,
Dakota

A compression sack is basically just a stuff sack that you can use some mechanism to further compress and keep your equipment compressed.

Great to use compression bag for down items like sleeping bag or jacket, they can be compressed to take up a much smaller space.

There is a place called Shona's in Thamel that sells/rents heaps of gear. I am sure she wld be able to supply you with a compression sack.

Check out one of the guide books for the exact location.

So you do not remember any of those straitjackets you have worn?
