I found Machhendra Tamang through an internet search, thanks to the precise and warm recommendations posted by his previous customers. I was impressed by how quickly he answered to emails and by how easily we could talk by phone and set up the program of the “three pass” trek I wanted to do (March 2010). During the trek, I had the great advantage of an experienced independent guide and I got a wonderful personal service. Machhendra has a deep knowledge of the itinerary, the passes and he arranges accommodation and food according to the wishes of his customer in any place. He was so careful about cooking and tableware that I had the great advantage of a diarrhea-free trek! Moreover he knows to guess the physical potential of his customer and thus adapts the schedule to the fitness of his client, if necessary.. He is a friendly individual, thoughtful, respectful, and patient. He is very professional and made me feel safe at all times, even in heavy snow conditions. I always travelled at the pace I liked.
