Hi everyone,
I am going on the EBC trek in November, and a porter is carrying my luggage for me.
I have been looking at some day-packs, and i'm a bit worried by what size to get.
I've been looking at; http://www.kathmandu.com.au/Packs_&_Luggage/Day_Packs/40227/Cotinga_Pack_v2.html
Would this be big enough? Or would you recommend getting a bigger one?
Thank for any help!

You might want to go a little larger
(personally, I'd go to a full featured but small backpack esp with waist belt, frame, water bottle pockets, etc; "Kathmandu" range seems a bit limited -- sorry Kiwis -- but they do show some better ones in there daypack listings)
It is cold up high in November, and you'll be stuffing this with
water bottle
gloves
coat
camera
valuables
snacks?
other stuff
One with at least a small waist belt is more comfortable.

Better to error on the large size. If you're not sure what size you need, go to a local store pick-up a bag and walk around filling it with all the things you think you need and see how they fit. The bag linked in your post looks small and as landfall38 noted it does not show a hip belt. It also doesn't look like it has easy water bottle assess.

Ok thanks a lot for your advice!
Would you recommend maybe getting one in Nepal? (I only need one to last me the 3 weeks, how much would you say that may cost?)
Or did anyone have any websites where I could get one for cheap?

Try some other brands if "Kathmandu" does not have anything bigger/cheaper
Locally made packs in Kathmandu, Nepal may be cheaper but low in quality. Specially if your stuffs are heavy (seams connecting shoulder straps).
30-35 ltr is good size depending how big you are (size and bulk of your jacket, water bottle, camera ..). True!
26 ltr might be ok if everything you own are light and small. See the list of items someone listed above. Pack those items as someone suggested. Always need a light sweater and wind/waterproof jacket ready with you above Namche either on or in the pack.
Suggestion: Make sure you do not loose your jacket on the way up.
Have a wonderful trek!!!

Suggest NEVER buying a pack in Nepal. What might look fine may well let you down a week into the trek. I made this mistake with a day pack once.

I bought various things in Nepal, including a backpack for my trekking companion in April. I still have a 12 yo sleeping bag. It has started to leak lately, but it has done a tremendous job in the meantime.
I guess it is a matter of checking the seams, etc. Some stuff is crap in Thamel, but there is also very good stuff to buy. And the prices are fantastic compared to Sydney.
