I am in KTM at present, 6 April. There is a blockage of all roads out of KTM valley which hopefully will be lifted again in a few days time.
I'm leaving tomorrow on a Helambu/Langtang trek which allows me to walk from the edge of KTM valley into Helambu. By the time I return from Dunche I hope the roads are open again.

I finished the trek without any problems and without meeting any Maoists, returning safely to Kathmandu from Dunche by road.
