Looking for a cheap direct Kathmandu to Juphal (Dolpo) flight?
We will hire a charter flight to fly to Juphal from Kathmandu early on 1st Aug (rain permitting) and need more passengers to reduce costs. Flight Kathmandu to Nepalganj then next day to Juphal normally costs $260-. We will sell the seat for 1 way trip for $200.

Would you like to do the hard lower Dolpo trek Juphal, Tarap, Phoksundo lake, Juphal with a private group of about 8 European women and men from 1-14th Aug?
We live in Kathmandu and have arranged with a Dolpo trekking agent to undertake this spectacular and remote trek, taking tents and porters. We would like to find another 2 or more people to make up numbers and keep costs down. Interested?

If interested please e-mail Richard on richardluff06@gmail.com
Or phone Rhian on (Nepal 00977) 9803715745

Hello Richard.

I would be very much happy to hear more about the planned trip!

I am a 26 year old Physio Therapy student from Israel looking for a nice trekk\mountaineering group I can join in August :-) . You guys sound like a great idea!! Firstly I must note that I have almost no experience in high altitude trekking, although I am in great physical shape and have traveled a lot in Israel with heavy loads on my back =]

I am looking for a physically demanding route, but because I have no exp. abroad I am looking for a group I can join.
If it sounds good, please get back to me soon. We haven't much time to arrange things since it is already July, and I must make flight plans to Nepal if we agree I could join you. I guess I would join the flight you wrote about too, but I need to find out where I will land from Israel first in order to arrange flights and travel accordingly.

Also, I wanted to ask if you know how much the trekk will cost, roughly, for each person?
And last thing, I think I can get a list of kit essential for the trekk, but I wouldn't mind getting some tips =]

Sincererly,
Dan Cohen.

That is a trip I would have loved to do. Been wanting to get to that lake area ever since I saw Caravan (Himalaya) at the cinema in Kathmandu in 1999 or 2000. If there was more time before August I would have loved to had join you. Hopefully after your trek is over you will post something about it here on trkinfo.
