Hello! My name is Kimmy, originally from Canada, but currently living and working in Bangkok as an English teacher.

I have been to Everest Base Camp Trekking for (15 days), Trishuli River Rafting (a day trip), Chitwan Wildlife Jungle Safari (2 nights and 3 days) and finally Ghorepani Annapurna Instant Trekking (for 8 days) with Trekking Guide MAHABIR TAMANG (Visit his Homepage: www.guideofnepal.net (E-mail at him: seeunepal@gmail.com

I went during last November / December 2009. His Team arranged for air tickets, transportation, hotels, rafting, jungle safari, meals, sightseeing in Kathmandu and Pokhara, and the Tea Houses Treks. I chose his services based on the recommendation of some of my good friends who had trekked with him several times before. I was not disappointed!

Although he is young, Mahabir has a lot of experience with Trekking. He knows the trails inside out and the people involved in the tourism industry at various levels, and he is a good organizer. He made all the necessary arrangements for the trip in a very professional way. He also speaks English and Japanese well, and is very generous. He is knowledgeable about Nepal from many perspectives, so apart from being a good guide, he is a pleasant companion and I learned a lot about the local culture while talking to him. I recommend that you use him as a guide and use his services. You will be glad you did.

So, if you are looking for a Trekking and Adventures guide, I suggest you hire him to serve you for your various adventure activities.

Best wishes and happy traveling to Nepal. I love Nepal and I am thinking of going back for Annapurna Trekking some day!

I am happy to share my very positive experiences on trekinfo.com. Visiting Nepal was an experience that I will never forget.

This guide being recommended has recently been banned from this site for breaches of the posting rules. They were written to twice and warned but they continued to spam the site. They then proceeded to mail as many people as they could using the personal mail system with adverts. That is also against the rules. They were told of the rules before they did this but decided to carry on anyway. After they were banned they set up another account and carried on. That id was also banned. Why do guides think they can come on here and behave as they like despite being asked to stop? As a warning to all guides, please follow the rules or else you will either receive no publicity or negative publicity which won't help your business at all.

If you would like there to be an advert here and for you to receive business from here then it is very simple. Follow the rules and behave respectfully and there will be no problem. Behave badly and do whatever you want then you will be banned and receive negative publicity.
