There is a bus to Besi, though I don't know where from, some others may. Both times our group took other means of transport...

Your hotel will know, and can even get you a ticket.

Talking about the hotel, some suggestions:
- Kathmandu Peace Guest house
- Hotel Utse,
- Hotel Norling
- Hotel Tashi Delek
- Kathmandu Guest House,
- Tibet Guest House

Some of them, if you email them, may come and pick you up from the airport. But you get better prices if you just show up at reception.

- Hotel Tashi Delek
Is there really a hotel named Tashi Delek?

Doesn't that mean Hello or Good Day or some such?

I have made the mistake of believing that that was the name of the guy where
I rented trekking gear for 20 years. His shop had a big sign Tashi Delek, and that
is what I called him all those years.

I still blush when thinking of how I found out my mistake.

He had given me excellent deals and great equipment again and again. I met his
wife and I stored stuff with him for 3 - 4 months when I loafed around India.
And I addressed him as 'Good Afternoon' or 'Have a Nice Day'. :o

Yes, there is a hotel named Tashi Delek. Favourite place of Boulia's, he's put me onto it. It does mean Hello (or something like that) in Tibetan.

I can understand the embarassment. It must have been pretty funny...
