I just finished a great tented trek up the Tsum Valley (and part Manaslu) with Santaman, Shera, Nakur, Ram, Rame and their crew. Again, their professionalism and care was obvious, even to providing shower a shower tent and hot water every third day (they suggested every second day, but we argued for less cleanliness).
I have trekked with Santaman for my last 11 treks now, and this was by far the most complex living in tents, with cooks, etc. The service and atmosphere were again first class, even to looking after the over enthusiastic AND over-imbibing tourists on the last night together.
They do a lot for their remote and disadvantaged village (Kaaule in the Langtang region), including managing to build a school there etc.
Looking forward to my next trek with them, sometime in 2010 or early 2011!!
