I will be trekking from about mid June.I had planned on doing the AC clockwise and spending most time up in the rain shadow areas. However after reading some recent news about the amount of traffic on the western side of the circuit Im not so sure.Having trekked extensively some years ago one of the main draws was getting right away from the machines.
Maybe Id be better going Jiri to EBC ...but the rain and cloudy..?
Anyone enlighten me with suggestions..Or what about Langtang ?

If you start the AC anti-clockwise (from Besi Sahar or Kudi these days), you will not meet "machines" until Jomsom, or maybe Ranipawa/Muktinath.
And you can also visit the likes of Jharkot and Kagbeni, very interesting villages.

You can then fly out of Jomsom, if you want to avoid "traffic".
But even so, going down to Marpha, Dana, Ghasa, these are interesting Thakali villages with excellent lodges and good food.
You can then just hop on a 4wd and go in one day all the way to Beni.

Khumbu (EBC/Gokyo) and Langtang are in the way of the monsoon. Not that it would not be interesting to do those during the wet, but it will be wet, and a lot less visibility than you get on the Marsyangdi Valley upto Thorung La, and even beyond.
