Yep - we've known this for a long time. But having too much fun watching the forums and haven't had the inspiration to clean up the home page.
Thanks to everyone for keeping things interesting in here. I stumbled across the recent yetizone discussions and was surprised to learn that trekinfo is viewed as competition. Maybe we should link to them just to try to negotiate a peace treaty.
The Nepal trekking scene has changed so much in the past few years that it's hardly recognisable from the standpoint of the "old days" but there's still real adventure out there if you get off the apple pie trail(s).

Yes – I agree, Homepage is Desperately out of date and needs updating – I mean “Nepal’s latest tourist attraction: meeting mountain guerrillas”

It's off-season now and activity on the forum is low so it would be nice to see the home page updated. It's so out-dated now and must be confusing to new visitors to the site.

I guess that all depends on the motivation and amount of spare time available to the powers that be. Agreed, would be nice to see a fresh look and the removal of out dated information.
