Hello

Usually peaple discuss about sleeping bags, but I need just simple information about temperatures INSIDE lodges in October. My plan is do a trek from Lukla to EBC, then Chola La, Gokyo and down to Lukla.

Could easily go to 0 Celsius inside your room. I had -7 inside the room in early January 2008 at Gokyo, what the temperature outside got to -18 that night. It will probably be a bit warmer in October. But when you get to above 4000 metres altitude, it gets pretty cold, and the lodges are not insulated well at all. A warm sleeping bat is a must.

Can get easily down to -10C, even colder. Fortunately that happens only once or twice in the highest lodges (unless you stay there for a long time). So it is possible to survive with lesser bat* if you wear long underwear & fleece in bed and use down jacket as a quilt.

I use the same terminology as yakshaver above so that he does not feel so bad about it. And don't you edit it!

LOL ;)

Yes, it can get cold, you will be happier with a good sleeping bag than without.
