Hello.
I plan to fly to Nepal some time early April with the intent of trekking for up to 60 days. I plan to stay a few days in Kathmandu, then take a bus to Jiri, then proceed to Lukla and Namche Bazaar. After a few days i hope to be going on to Periche and Everest base camp (via Kala Pataar). I would also like to take in the Gokyo Lakes via the Cho La, and possibly a trekking peak (Mera or Imja Tse). If anybody is interested or knows a group who would welcome anothere member i would greatly appreciate it.
Many thanks.

Hi Scot,
I have similar ideas, but my start is around 20.3. I will fly to Lukla, then hike to Gokyo and EBC. I heard about robbing in the area of Jiri, so flying to Lukla should be better.
Regards
Frank

I plan to arrive March 17th and plan to stay in Nepal for 60 days or even longer. Depending on who I meet or if I feel I want to move on.
I’ve thought about doing a peak. But I also want to walk in from Jiri. Although it takes longer time really isn’t an issue at the moment, and it’s kind of a warm up if you get me.
Don’t know about you but a group sounds good (what ever size). At least there are people to share the experiences with.
Many thanks

I like your suggested itinerary
Im going around the same time tentatively Email me or call me at 977 9808821869 (nepali cell). Im also going to langtang this month but you wont be here yet and possibly annapurna after everest. Ive been studying here in the kathmandu university and speak some nepali and tibetan and have experience travelling/hiking here if it makes me any more attractive of a trekmate. Dan
