Man...I am getting concerned about my upcoming trip in March. I have a lot at stake(wife, kids, job, and extended family), not to say that there are not others who don't have something to lose as well. I really don't want to put myself in any situation. My main concern over the last year and a half of planning was the safety of the trip. The latest events have really made me evaluate things. It is also difficult because I am not able to communicate with the trekking company I have hired. I will give it a couple more weeks, and then I am going to have to decide whether I am going. Good luck to others. Again...I pray for peace and that the general common citizen of Nepal will be able to manage through this crisis.
