I recently trekked in the Annapurna region and Khumbu region in Nepal and I would like to recommend Jagat Lama trekking company. His website is http://www.independent-trekkingguide-nepal.com
I trekked with Jagat’s brother, Kanchha Lama, as my guide and with Roj Lama as my porter. Both were very good company and we had become very good friends by the end of the trek. Kanchha is a very professional guide who knows a lot about the region and knows very well the plants and animals that live there. He is also very easy going and is often singing on the trails. He knows many of the people in the villages and always gets good rooms in the lodges.
