Visit Tibet from Nepal?

Please, help me with information!
We are going to visit Tibet from Nepal ( I and my friend) in September-October. Is this possible now? How much permits and way costs? On what transport it is possible? I cant find any information about this.

It is very easy to travel in Tibet. But frist how many days you are going ? If you are going 7/8 days it cost 380 usd per person, includes your b/f with guide and transportation etc. if you need nay more information pls mail me ok

Guide books say that you can only get into Tibet from Nepal if you go with an organized group. If you go in from China, less of a problem to go alone. Have been on an organized MTB trip Lhasa -> KTM. Company of guide through state co. was mandatory, although the guide and drivers were Tibetan and of course though little of the Chinese.
