Hello to Trekkers
I would like to recommend you the trek north of Kathmandu to the Langtang National Park Area. Langtan is the first Himalayan national park in Nepal designated in 1976 has unique features. The national parks is boarding south china(Tibet) in the north and kathmandu valley rim in the south, located in high mountainous terrain. The trek starts from DHUNCE, a hill situated down approximately 7 hour drive from Kathmandu, then the trekking trail goes as far as Kyangingumba which is the main attraction of Langtang Valley. Kyangingumpa situated an altitude of 3900m offers an imposing view of 7300m Langtang ranges in close eyes and the famous Langtang Glacier. More over you will passed by many of the cultural villages, where the people are resembled to Tibetan, back from Kyangin Gumpa you can continue toward the Holy lake that is Gosainkunda.on the way to the lake, you stop at Lauribanayak (3900m) from where you can see 40% of Nepal Himalayas, that including Dhaulagir in the west and Jugal Himal in the east, you need to be really fortune to be that part of the globe. After visiting the high altitude lake at 4300m, you have an option to go through the pass and walk down to Kathmandu valley via HELAMBU which is not enough in 10 days trek, that takes 12 days or you return back to DHUNCHE from the lake in 2 days and drive same way back to Kathmandu can be done in 10 days, but more adventurous is to go through the pass at 4600m, and walk back to kathmandu valley.
