Hey guys, this is a great forum. Lots of useful info here. I've never been to Nepal, but really looking forward to it. I'm going to be in the country for about 15 days, and I plan to hike Annapurna Sanctuary and be back in Kathmandu in time for my flight out.
Estimated time for this trek is between 10-12 days, but I'd like to get do some sightseeing in Kathmandu before I leave, so I'm a little pressed for time. Does anyone know how long the busride takes to Pokhara and what time of day it leaves? Is it possible to land in Kathmandu and take a bus the same afternoon? This would save me another day of travelling :)
