Hello,
We plan to do a part of anapurna trek in mid september and we are worry about the climat, the visibility.
We plan to do alone we are not shure if we want to take a porter or not.
Were can we find information about the road ? and were can we take a good porter.

You are right about everything in your message, Jed. My message was not meant as advertising. It is just an option. I liked to be with a guide, because he could tell me about the flowers, Nepalese people, animals etc. along the trek. Next to this it is nice to hear about his personal life, which he can introduce you to.
Annapurna Base Camp is the only trek with real avalanche danger and it is always good to get information about this. Especially in winter times. For the rest a trekking in the Annapurna region can be made without a guide, absolutely positive.
