I am planning to return from Gokyo cutting across Ngozumpa Glacier to Dragnag. Ideally I like to join up with a trekking party at Dragnag to cross Cho La but failing that I plan to walk to Dingboche on the east bank of Dudh Koshi. I noticed on the National Geographic map that there are no lodges marked between Dragnag and Phortse. Can anyone who has walked this route advise what the situation is pls? I notice that there are a couple of villages along the route. Maybe a solo walker can find food and shelter there?

We walked this path last November . There is a very basic lodge at Thore and at least one good one at Thare about half an hour further. We stayed in the second one. The path was very quiet but fine .
