Hello,
I'm looking for some companions to go trekking with in the Langtang region around the 2nd week of October.
I'm a 35 year old doctor from England, easy going and fun. I would describe my trekking abilities as average.
Please get in touch if you are interested in joining me. I can organise the guides and porters if needs be.
Thanks
Michael

Hi Michael,
I'm also planning to do Langtang in October - would be keen to catch up. However my dates are fairly tight due to flights - I'm looking at Sunday 12th until Mon 20 / Tues 21st. Does this fit?
I'm a 30yr old Brit with reasonable hiking experience but 1st time in the Himalaya.
Cheers,
Simon

you will love it. its an excellent hike with lots of variation and interesting people. you can safely go by yourself. There is a road as far as Syabrubensi but I started from Dunche. You follow the road to Syabrubensi a bit and then split off and go up to Barku.
If you are carrying pot be careful as they give you a frisk along the road to Dunche where you show permits.

Hi Micheal,
I'm in Kathmandu now, but leave for Chitwan for three days tomorrow (7th / 8th and 9th). Could well be interested in Langtang on 10th / 11th October. Was originally thinking Annapurna but Langtang seems the more adventurous option.
If you are able to meet up today to discuss then let me know.
I'm 33 / male from UK. Have done the Gokyo / Cho La Pass / EBC trek (last month) so have some experience.
Let me know ...
Simon

Hi Michael,
already gone to Langtang? I am looking for a companion/companions to do the same trek, but I guess it is late by now.
I am just a little older than you are, just came back from Manaslu and did the Annapurna Circuit three years ago, so I think I am strong enough...
If by any chance you have postponed your trek, please, let me know. I am a volunteer teacher in Nepal, but they have so many holidays here...
Thanks for letting me know,
Olga
