I am just seeking some advice as to how much a person should attempt to do with a month and 4 days in nepal... I will be there from about apr. 20 to may 26. I have been looking at the options for treks in nepal, and am relatively sure that i would like to do the annapurna circuit, but i know that that alone will not fill up the time there. I have also looked into a 3-4 day rafting trip out of pokhara, wihch may compliment nicely, but I wanted to see if anyone had other suggestions for what to do with the extra time...
would the sanctuary be an option as well? if not both, which one would you choose over the other? if neither, whats the best way to spend the short amount of time i have for nepal? thanks!

If you do AC do the Sanctuary too . It is a wonderful place ! Considered one of the most beautiful with Gokyo by many .
Enjoy yourself

Yakshaver-----would you recommend that i head immediately up to Everest Base camp upon arrival 4/24 to get the best weather up there?? or should i do annapurna both? i want to do both, but obviously want to time everything so I can get the best possible weather in the best trek location.
still want to do annapurna sanct. and everest, both, of course not if im going to get there and its just going to rain every day and im not going to be able to see anything.....people had told me the monsoon doesnt hit khumbu until mid-june, so i thought i would be ahead of it.....

Good point Jeff. I would indeed recommend you head of to Everest first and finish with that before the rains set it, in the last week of May. After than, have a bit of a rest and then do AC. As I said, the first three days of AC will be hot and wet (take some strong insect repellent, helps against leaches). But then as you approach Tal and Manang it will be very pleasant, not too much rain, just nice and green.
