If you acclimatize well, you can do both Gokyo and EBC in 15 days. That still leaves a few days in Kathmandu. If you are doing a teahouse trek, you will have plenty of flexibility and can decide how far you want to push up the Khumbu Valley once you get there.

Am a 40 yr old first time British trekker who has heard so much about the ACT that I just have to go do it!

Arrive in Kathmandu on April 3rd and have 6 weeks in total in Nepal.

Can anyone recommend specific budget hotel / guest houses in Khat, Pokhara, Bessisahar and tea house accom. on the trek circuit?

Restaurants?

Any well recomended porters? Contact info. / location would be helpful too...

Anyone out there fancy doing the ACT slowly in say 25-30 days? Maybe share a porter and walk together?

Thanks in anticipation...

Regards
