Hairy and exposed trails

Hi again:o
Any input on this mayby someone been there recently
Was reading in the cicerone guide abaut the short cut from beni to tatopani
that the trail was rather dramatic and exposed at some points.
Does that meen that its not recomended to walk this way going with children
7&10 years old.

I think there is a road there now so I would be surprised if it is at all difficult. There are buses from Beni to Tatopani. Personally I would go out via Ghorepani and Ghandruk or Chhromrong rather than Beni and miss out that section of road altogether.

I've done this part last year, and there was no problem at all.
On the other hand we had a detour between Kalopani (I think...) and Tatopani because of landslides. Mind you, it was July, and quite rainy, so landslides are the norm at that time.

Unlikely if you go "in season".
