Good time to go to EBC?

I am planning to trek to Kala Pathar with EBC on this year end to new year.
Could you anybody tell how about whether etc?

Well end of new year i snot best time to to kalapatter but still good to do , you can do.weather is ok that time.if you wana more about Nepal please fell free to writ eto me.

It will be very cold at night and in the early morning anywhere above Namche Bazaar. Gokyo gen go as low as -20 in December, but it gets a bit milder during the day. I imagine EBC would be similar. A good sleeping bag, warm clothing, and good boots are essential. As is a good pair of sunglasses.

And do you know how about wether at the Everest road region this year.
Is it snow at above Namche Bazzer? Do I need a pair of climing iron(it is useful for icy slopes)?

I am planning to have any guide and porter in my trekking. Will I have a room at any lodge on my trekking, even at Tenboche, Pheriche, Lobche and Grokshep, without advanced reservation?
Also do I need to book airplane tichets to Lukla from Kathumandu before get to Nepal?

Please let me know information on these.

Yes there will be the snow above lukla in that time.Yes you can easily sleep in lodge all places.the weathere will be not very clear but still can see the mountain and ometime snow.I am a Trekking Guide and Local tour oprater in Nepal you you are wel come to Nepala and dmy servise here. I been Everest Trekking mor ethan 15 times.If you have few days in kathmandu you do not need to book the flight tkt from there but if your are going luckla just after your arrival you better book the flight tkt to lukla from there.
