When to go

Is it good idea to go trekking (to Everest Base Camp) in the middle of the Marz? What conditions can I expect on the trek (especially in the upper part)? Best regards. Milosz

March is the middle of the "second" high trekking season (the first being october-november). The weather should be milder and the visibility should be good at least in the mornings. It will still be cold above Namche Bazaar, especially at night, so a good sleeping bag is necessary.
If you have time, go also to Gokyo. I personally prefer the Gokyo vally to the EBC, and the views from Gokyo Ri, but everyone has a different opinion on that.
