I arrived in Jomson after crossing the pass on October 15th. Every seat was sold out on every flight for the next 2 weeks in Jomson. I wound up getting a group together and chartering a helicopter - which I highly reccomend to get out of there. The cost was $900 for 5 - so about $180 US each.
If possible - book your tickets in advance. There were several people stuck there that had booked "open" tickets - but the airlines had booked their seats anyway.
Everyone had told us it was no problem to book a flight at anytime - but both at Jomson and Pokara everything was booked.
