Hi there,

We got a little question.
We heard 2 things about filming in nepal (normal video camera).
One said you have to pay 100 Dollar for a filming permit and
the second we heard is that you can film without problemen, sometimes paying for a park or area you are in.
What is true, is it wise to pay 100 dollar? we realy like to film our trip.
Pleace some advice.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
So if we use a normal video camera for personal use only, so not proffesional it,s not gonna be a problem and we dont have to pay for a permit or something.
So what is that story about paying 100 Dollar, they told it when i saw a program about nepal on tv. Does annyone know?

Everytime I have been trekking in Nepal other people in our group shot video and no one ever paid a fee. There is no problem making personal videos.
