Hi I'm looking for other trekkers arriving in mid Nov to go trekking..
I am very flexable on what routes you are keen to do as this is my 8th visit and have done most routes before..
I'm looking at being in Nepal for about a month from mid November..
If anyone is looking to go trekking during that time and wants someone to walk with, reply to this thread and we can discuss routes ect..
Happy trails,
Ricky..

Hi Ricky,
I will be travelling to Nepal mid Nov and I have decided to do the Annapurna Circuit, if you interested. It will be my first visit to Nepal. I am beginning my travels there in fact and will be meeting up with a friend after I have completed the circuit to spend a few months doing some more little treks and travelling both there and India. My mate who lives in Aspen at present (I'm London UK) says she isn't fit enough to do the circuit - hope I am!
Have trekked in South America but that was a few years ago now and a different ball game entirely I 'd imagine.
One thing though I see you are a very knowledgeableable and experienced trekker and I'm not! I don't intend to carry my load will hire a porter at least...am researching at mo and trying to decide best thing to do - go with a group (which really isnt my style) or just independent. So I will not be offended at all if you'd rather go with more experienced hard core trekkers.
Anyway, Ricky, either way - the object of it all is to absorb and enjoy the experience and laugh a lot. It's all part of life's journey hey.
All the best
Petrina.

Hi Petrina,
I would be happy to trek with you and dont worry about the Title that this site has given me... every trek you do is different even if you have done the route before and I learn something new each time...and If your reasonably fit and enjoy long walks your fitness should be fine...
I am still waiting on a definate end date to the contract I'm on from work before I actually book my flights to Nepal...
Taking a porter is a good idea if you have a lot of gear and you are bot sure about your level of fitness so thats a decission you have to make for yourself.. I have done so in the past on the odd day that I fancy a break from carrying my own pack.. the trick is to try and go as light as possible..
Also, no need to take a guide or go in a group unless you really want to.. It's a well worn route and a good map is all you need, plus there will always be other trekkers on the same route.. you are never really alone for long.
Reply to this post if you are still keen to go and we can swap e-mail address's to stay in touch ok..
I'm also from London UK.

I will arive in Kathmandu at the 4th of October and stay in Nepal (and India) untill February 2009. Around November I am also planning to do the Annapurna trip. I would be great to go with a (little) group and enjoy all the surroundings!
I will go to Nepal on my own, so I like to meet some people to do a trip together.....
Hope to hear from you!

Hello,
I will also be travelling to Nepal in November, and hope to find fellow trekkers to do the Annapurna Circuit. My range of dates is basically November 1st to November 26th, so anytime within that range I would like to spend 3 weeks doing the Annapurna Circuit.
Thanks,

my name is nadine, i come from switzerland and i'm interested in doing the annapurna circuit. due to the fact that i work here for an orphanage until the end of the year i'm very open with dates but i prefer to start at the beginning of november.
have you already planned anything now? if not i would suggest to find a date via trekinfo to meet us in kathmandu. what do you think? what about the 5th of november?

Hi everyone,
I wont be in Nepal until the very end of November and then for 2 weeks in Dec but many of you sound like your staying for a month or more so I was wondering if anyone was keen to keep trekking during Dec too... It will be my 1st time in Nepal so I am keen to try any of the treks that I can fit in within a two week period.
Anyone keen?
Cheers

Hi all,
Sounds like there's going to be quite a few trekking around mid November. I'm flying into Kathmandu on the 18th and am planning on doing the Annapurna Circuit (with maybe a detour to Annapurna Sanctuary). I haven't been to Nepal before and am keen to meet up with a group for at least some of the trek. Are there many still planning to go at this time? I haven't trekked before but have done quite a lot of hiking and am reasonably fit. Let me know if anyone's interested. See you on the hills!

Hi Ricky,
I am currently in Baktapur and I am seeking a partner for some part of the Annupurna Circuit. I was hoping to go for about 2 weeks. I am ready to go ASAP.
I am a female artist in my late 20's who likes to observe all the details. I love to hike (obviously) and am a budget travelor who will splurge now and again.
I hope to hear from you soon!
