trekkingwise almost everything will be possible in April.
March will be a little chillier than April but nice. you might struggle to get to places like Tilicho earlier in the month but probably ok by later in the month.
There is a slight but real avalanche risk in some spots on the route to ABC in spring, especially during this time - this is something to be aware of but not to put you off.
March is better for haze conditions. haze starts to build up bady in April, May towards the monsoon/summer.
april/march is the prime rhododhendron bloom period.
Spring generally means less tourists than autumn.
I consider March to be an almost perfect month for trekking. I suggest you go in spring. generally you can trek all year round but perhaps with a little less comfort in winter and summer.
