-25 was only at NIGHT !!

we stayed above 4000 for about 4 days.

I did not cross the Thorong La but we were told that it was impossible because too snowy and dangerous at the time.

I agree, it can happen. Wheather at altitude can be extremely unpredictable.

Sian - are you looking for trekking partners when you go? I am arriving in Nepal in late March, and would like to do the EBC and AC, conditions allowing.
