Dear Travellers!
Namaste !
What i have learnt from my 6 years experience on Nepal's trekking filed is, trekkers mostly run after the bigger company's names and secondly the working class; guides and porters, who have the most important responsibilty during the entire trip are not rewarded as much as they really deserve.
If you want the working class to be benefited directly, why dont you take a guide or porters directly?
However i dont recommend to hire them directly if your trip is of adventurous type like climbing, high pass trekking and restricted area trekking.
Thank You.
