altitude

[just wondering]

I think I already know the answer to this but how do smokers fare at altitude?

Do light smokers notice a difference as oposed to heavy smokers?

I understand many Guides and porters smoke. If this is correct do they suffer ill effects as well?

well,it is depend last year i saw a woman giving birth a baby in pangpema during winter which is at 5200m elevation below Kanchanjunga Base Camp.I know a guy who have climbed Mt Everest drinking full bottle Vodka continuely.Why some peole need oxygen to climb Everest i know some one has climbed everest with out oxygen.
