EBC Trekking Agencies

I am planning a trip to EBC/KP this fall. Wondering if anyone has used Snow Lion or KE Adventures as a trekking agency. Or if you have used any groups that you can recommend.

Nepal Vision was the one I used. I think KE adventures would charge far too much. Organise your guide etc when you arrive in Kathmandu. We emailed with a couple of companies and then negotaited with them upon arrival after interviewing the guides.

I had taken the bait when there was a posting by a person purporting to be a Jessica Dyke from Australia who recommended Thirdpole and then claimed to have passed on my enquiry directed to her to Thirdpole. I then tried to establish the bona fides of Jessica to no avail and ended up with much rudeness from that agency.

I could not entrust Thirdpole who I believe pretend to be westerners to trick people into a false recommendation.

As it turns out I am still making some arrangements but continue with frustrations in this effort. I have no problem with paying a fair price for honest and what I see as hard earned labour but I resent being tricked and taken down.

Yakshaver, I have often read your posts to this site and regard you as being both experienced and sincere, but I am strongly against you with this Thirdpole bag of shits.
